Under the terms of the Section 106 Agreement, Fairview Homes are require to develop these 86 new homes for rent and low cost home ownership in partnership with the above three RSLs, supported by the Local Planning Authority, Swale District Council.
The affordable homes are part of the Fairview New Homes landmark development of 289 new dwellings together with 15,000m² of mixed commercial accommodation, doctors’ surgery, nursery and a nursing home. Avebury Projects is appointed individually by Amicus, Hyde and Moat to act as Employer’s Agent and Quality Control Inspector in respect of the affordable housing provision. This has required 3 separate contracts between Fairview and the respective RSLs with minor specification variations and the necessity for APL to manage both the overall delivery and the elements particular to each.
The scheme is progressing well and will be delivered within the contract period.
