Located  close to the London Olympics Village, East Thames Housing Group is developing this scheme of new houses and flats for affordable rent and shared ownership sale. The project is a resounding success in collaborative working under the PPC 2000 Partnering Form of Contract between the client, the design team, the Constructor and Avebury Projects as Project Manager.

The contract was awarded to Wates Living Space following a limited tender with another East Thames Framework Partner Constructor. The initial tender price was followed by detailed negotiations between Avebury Projects and Wates to arrive at an Agreed Maximum Price.

The Works commenced on site in March 2007 and is due to complete by end April 2009, two months ahead of the contract completion date. The standards achieved on this project have won much praise from the client and the local authority as stakeholders.  The shared ownership homes have been well received by the local people and have attracted many buyers despite the current difficult market.

The scheme is also due to be nominated for an RIBA design award.
